Ponds add a touch of extra interest into a garden. Whether it be a pond stocked with fish, in which case you may well need to protect them from herons, or just a pond of reflection and relaxation.

  If you are stocking your garden pond with fish, it may very well be a good investment to purchase a pond cover as fish pond covers not only prevent leaf debris from polluting your pond, but you may also use larger mesh to prevent your valued fish from becoming a quick snack to a passing Heron.

 It is also worth remembering that fish ponds can be a great temptation, and therefore danger, to small children and, while fish pond covers are not guaranteed to prevent children from falling into ponds, a good quality fish pond cover may act as a partial deterrent.
